This section will have different things written
either by me or my other people about anything and everything.
I don't want anyone to take offense to any of this stuff, this
is just me writing about my feelings and ideas. Have anything
you want me to put up? Just send it in an e-mail.
A note on the writings.. I'll only post ones I randomly write
whenever, and I don't randomly write stuff all that often.
As for the poems, if anyone would like to submit a poem, I'll
probly put it on here. I'm not much for writing poems, sorry.

Subject: The Unknown
The unknown. When someone looks
at those words, adventure is brought to the mind, as is fear.
Every religion deals with, to some extent, the greatest unknown,
death. What happens when someone dies? A bright white light
at the end of a tunnel? A new body? Heaven, Hell, or Limbo?
Oneness with the earth? Nothing at all? Everyone at some point
in their life has these thoughts.
People are afraid of the unknown,
which is why all religions have some answer for this. People
need the little story of what happens after this life so they
can go on about their lives. No one really knows what happens
when someone dies, what happens to the deceased. Everyone needs
to believe something about death; it cannot be ignored. The
day that death is ignored, overlooked, will be a loss in civilization,
no matter how advanced the people.
I have been raised as a Catholic;
children are raised up in some sort of religion so it can be
set in their minds. So that they can blindly follow it no matter
what. Faith is stubbornness, saying no to other logical and
proven explanations just because their faith says otherwise.
Now please, do not confront me and say that I shoot down religion.
I believe that religion is very important- not spiritually,
but culturally, socially, psychologically, and physically. I
have been brainwashed as a catholic. I say brainwashed because
ever since I was a child, Catholic teachings and prayers have
been branded into my mind. Is that right? I say yes. Yes because
it gives reason for the unknown. Is that not all religion is?
Reason and explanation for the unknown, that and a kind of code
of conduct, morals, conscience.
"Thou shall not kill,” one
of the Ten Commandments of Christianity. What is the reason
for not killing? Because my religion says so? Bull. Religions
teach so many lessons, but they say because their god wants
it that way or because their god says so. Do not kill people,
have morality because it is right, not because some one tells
you to. People say they do or do not do something because their
religion tells you, but really, it is because they feel it is
the right thing to do,ethically or personally.
So basically, I just wanted to
point out that all religions are just their own explanations
of things and then a set of moralities. All that other stuff
is just added in to make it look pretty and everything. That's
all I see in religion. At least take this into consideration,
I'm not asking you to drop your religion or anything, all I
am doing is giving my view. Thank you.
-Ed
P.S.: If you ever want to have a serious conversations about
religions or anything like that, faith, whatever, you know how
to contact me. Now, I'm not saying I'm some kind of expert or
anything, all I can do is give my views and discuss this stuff,
I always enjoy having intelligent conversations, no matter how
stupid I come across.

Why?
If love is good
And hate is bad
Why
Is there pain
In love
And joy
